Qualification:

In order to qualify for this year's year-long tournament. Each player must have played 10

18-Hole rounds at Greensboro National since January 1st, 2024. 

     -Rounds played during league and tournament play will not be accepted towards the required 10 rounds

     -Discounted rounds will not be included towards the 10 required rounds, excluding any junior, senior, guest of member, or military/first responder discounts

 

Divisions:

There will be three different divisions playing in this year's tournament. If more divisions are needed due to high participation, more will be made by tournament staff.

     -Men Under 60

     -Men 60 and Over

     -Ladies

 

Shootout Format Explained:

The Shootout is a player vs. field based game instead of an overall stroke-play format. All players will be playing against the entire field for each hole. Every hole, a designated number, based off of the field size, of players will be eliminated from their score for that hole(s). If there's any questions about the scoring format, contact the pro shop at 336-342-1113.

 

Example: Player A makes a 4, Player B makes a 6, Player C makes a 4, and Player D makes a 5. If the hole calls for one player to be eliminated, then Player B would be eliminated as they had the highest score on that hole. This would continue until one player remains. 

 

*This is a handicapped event in which the strokes given to players will be on a per hole basis

*After a player is eliminated, they will continue to play as normal, but they will be eliminated from winning their division
